After a while the people over at Tropical Isles added lavender to the original verison to help cover up the smokey scent of the regular stuff. I've tried both and I love both. The original Jamaican Black Castor Oil scent never bothered me and I never understood why people complained about the scent. Truth be told, the lavendar scented Jamaican Black Castor Oil smells just a tiny bit better than the original, so really I don't even think it's worth it.
